Harvey is an unincorporated community known in the early years as "Harvey Location" in Marquette County. It is a Census-designated place (CDP) used for statistical purposes. The population was 1,321 at the 2000 census. Among the younger locals, Harvey is also known as "Harv Town" or "H Town".
