Michigan’s Great Lakes, thousands of inland lakes and rivers provide boaters with opportunities to see hundreds of different plants and animals along their shorelines. The Upper Peninsula also has thousands of miles of canoeable streams, thousands of miles of trout waters, and hundreds of access sites, many of which are maintained by local governments or organizations in partnership with the DNR. Anyway you look at it, there's a lot to enjoy!
